Last Feb. I was an extra in The Fray's music video.  I took quite a few photos (most found in my gallery)  and the director of the music video, Chandra, really liked them.  She asked to feature one of my photos on her homepage and I was very pleased that she enjoyed them.

I have met with Chandra and her husband Matt (who does everything from lighting to being co-director) on serveral ocassions and was very pleased when they invited me back to take photos for another music video shoot.   I will be going down to Denver on Nov 22 & 23 all day to take photos (and be an extra.)  I wish I had a professional camera but I guess I'll just have to take my own little makeshift equpiment: My digital camera, the downloading cords, the power cords (to recharge at lunch. Its a long day. 8AM to who knows when. Last time it was 10PM)  and my computer + power cords so I can upload my photos during lunch to clear my memory card.

It will probably take me a few weeks to upload these photos after the shoot as my finals are coming up. But rest assured, you will see (and hear about) the shoot.

Also I've taken a lot of concert photography in the past few months. Feel free to check it all out at www.frayawaytheedges.net … click "Images" I must have 75 or so photos up.

Forever Wandering,

Lili

How big is your memory card? I know what a pain it is to have to upload the pics constantly so you can take more... I recently bought a new card that holds 600+ pictures. It was expensive - $70 - but completely worth it. And now I don't have to upload quite as often (though I still take too many pictures, so I do eventually have to upload!).

Well, that's just amazing that you are getting to join them for another music video shoot! Good luck and have fun too!

P.S. Also, (I suppose I could comment on your lj about this but does it matter where? lol) I have been meaning to ask you if you collect all the Fray cds, including compilations..? I think I can guess "yes" but I thought I'd ask first. I have a Bolder Boulder Bands V.1 cd that I got at the Bolder Boulder (haha, imagine that) in 04 with "Some Trust" as the first song. And since I am in the middle of trying to get rid of my excess stuff, I thought you'd like to have the cd if you don't already.
